Virtual Ticket How To & FAQ

Important Information About Non-Festival Virtual Events and Tickets

How To Purchase A Virtual Ticket

This link will take you to our Film and Events Page, the Festival ticketing system.

To purchase a virtual ticket:
Search for the film or event you would like to attend and click on select that film or event. If you don’t have an account with Elevent Ticketing you will need to register and create an account first.  After you complete your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address registered with the account. THIS IS NOT YOUR VIRTUAL TICKET. You will receive a separate e-mail with a personal link to view the film approximately one hour before the virtual film is available to view. If you can’t find the email with your ticket, you can find it in your Elevent Order History.

Ticket Quantity:
You need purchase only one ticket per household to watch a film. If you have multiple people in your household who will be watching, we encourage you to make a DONATION during the checkout process or any time you feel compelled. (Donations to the Woods Hole Film Festival are tax deductible.)

FOR MEMBERS
Once you’ve logged into your our site with your Elevent account, the member price for tickets will show up automatically and this will be your only option. This is slightly different than it looked for live events, as you will not see a separate ticket for General Admission (non-members) or any other ticket options.

Virtual Event Schedule Info

How does the schedule work for virtual films events?
Virtual screening events take place over one or more calendar days, with the film being available to view starting at a certain time (typically 8:00  a.m. ET) on the start date and ending at midnight on the end date. Ticket sales will typically end at 8:00 p.m. on the end date. (Check individual events for exact times.)

Once you begin to watch a film you will have 48 hours to finish it or until midnight on the final day, whichever comes first. The link you receive to access a film is specific to your ticket and will only be accessed from one device. You will not be able to start watching on one device and finish watching on another. You will also not be able to share the link with anyone else once you have started watching it. You will be able to watch a film more than once within the 48 hour window on the same device.

What time zone is the schedule using?
All times are based on Eastern Standard/Daylight Time.
