Music at the Festival 2015

The 2015 Woods Hole Film Festival continues the tradition of incorporating music into the Film Festival. Musicians include:

LIZ FRAME AND THE KICKERS – Newburyport, MA

A high energy Americana/Alt-Country outfit with killer original material and infectious harmonies that do not fail to entertain and impress. Be ready to have a good time at a Kicker’s gig! Powerful lead vocals and a sophisticated ear for melody are their hallmarks. Playing Saturday, July 26th at the Captain Kidd, 10:30 p.m.

THE LOVE ME’S – CAPE COD, MA

Fronted by sax and accordian player Klem Klimek (currently on tour with NRBQ), The Love Me’s are a high energy trio of fun uptempo music with a cajun twist. Playing Wednesday, July 29th at the Captain Kidd, 10:30 p.m.

RECKLESS ROOTS– Cape Cod, MA

A sturdy blend of originals and covers fuels this roots rock, reggae, blues and norteno trio. Comprised of James Petcoff, Sam Holmstock and Tony Fitsch, they will have you dancing and singing along. Playing Thursday, July 30th at Phusion Grille, 10:30 p.m.

THE WHISKEY TREATY ROADSHOW – Western MA

The subject of a short film in the Festival, The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow is a collaborative project that brings together Massachusetts singer-songwriters in the vein of Americana, Rock and Roots-folk music to audiences throughout the Commonwealth and beyond, delivering tales and tunes of whiskey, music and brotherhood. Playing Friday, July 31st at the Captain Kidd.

6 EAST BAND – Cape Cod, MA

The alt-country-folk-americana tunes of Todd Nickerson and Jonathan Soucy will celebrate the closing night of the 24th Woods Hole Film Festival. Playing Saturday, August 1st at the Landfall.
