DINNER & A MOVIE 2025-2026
DINNER & A MOVIE is a film series presented by Woods Hole Film Festival as part of its year-round independent film program, featuring twice-monthly screenings of independent films from late fall to late spring. The Dinner and a Movie series includes films from the most recent Woods Hole Film Festival, as well as films curated specifically for the series.
ABOUT THE SCREENINGS:
Dinner and a Movie screenings are held at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s Redfield Auditorium. Screenings typically begin at 7:00pm, with doors opening to the public thirty minutes prior.
Redfield Auditorium is located at 45 Water Street in Woods Hole. The facility is wheelchair accessible. Hearing devices are available at the venue, upon request.
Street parking is available, but limited, in Woods Hole. Parking is available for free for ticket holders in certain lots operated by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and Marine Biology Laboratory after 5:00pm.
ABOUT THE DINNER:
- Ticketholders receive a discount at the Captain Kidd Restaurant & Quahog Republic Leeside Pub. Reservations are encouraged.
- The Captain Kidd Restaurant at 77 Water Street offers Dinner and a Movie ticket holders a 10% discount on the meal portion (excluding any alcohol) of their bill. For reservations for parties up to eight people, please complete the online reservation form and in the “special request” field, please indicate Dinner and a Movie. This will help the staff accommodate the timing for the screening start. For parties of nine or more, please call 508-548-8563. Diners must present their Dinner and a Movie tickets for the discount. Please note: The Captain Kidd restaurant is closed seasonally from December 28, 2025 until late April, 2026.
Please contact the participating restaurant for reservations or information. Ticket purchasers are asked to notify the restaurant that they are attending the Dinner and A Movie screening upon seating, and present their e-tickets for the discount or special offers.
WOODS HOLE FILM FESTIVAL MEMBERS
All Woods Hole Film Festival members receive a discount on Dinner and a Movie ticket purchases. Members at the Gold and Platinum levels also receive screening perks: Reserved seating (upon request) with ticket purchase, plus two Dinner and Movie screening passes per series.

General information
The films presented during the Dinner and a Movie series are subject to change. No refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases unless the screening is cancelled or rescheduled by the Festival. Screenings may be rescheduled due to various reasons, including inclement weather. Screening information will be posted on the Woods Hole Film Festival Facebook page as well as on the Woods Hole Film Festival Calendar.
