Virtual Festival Schedule Info

How does the schedule work to watch films during the 29th Woods Hole Film Festival?

If you are a passholder, you will be able to log in and watch any film at any time during the Festival consistent with your level of pass access. Festival watch dates: July 25th at 8 am through August 3rd at 11:59 pm. A passholder will be able to log into the streaming system from anywhere once you’ve created your account.

If you are a ticket purchaser, once you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email with an active link to the film or event.

Caution: The link you receive to access a film is specific to your ticket. You will not be able to start watching the film on one device and finish watching on another unless you are in one location and using the same WiFi ip address. Please make sure you are on WiFi and not data when you begin to watch a film. In addition you will not be able to share the link with anyone else once you have started watching it. Once you begin to watch a film you will have 48 hours to finish watching it. You will be able to watch a film more than once within the 48 hour window on the same device.

For certain events that involve a Q&A or other “live” discussion, we have created a suggested watch time so that the film will end prior to the start of the live scheduled online event.  (i.e. Watch the film at 6:00 p.m. and then join us for a Q&A with the director at 8:00 p.m.

How does the live virtual Q&A work?
The live Q&A is a scheduled event. If you are a passholder, the Zoom link will be accessed through the streaming platform. If you are a ticket purchaser you will receive the Q&A link in the email an hour prior to the start of the live event. Click on the link in your confirmation email to access the Zoom Webinar login. The Q&A will be recorded and available on the Festival website if you are not able to join it live.

What time zone is the schedule using?
All times are based on Eastern Standard/Daylight Time.
