VIRTUAL PASSES AND TICKETS

The 30th Woods Hole Film Festival VIRTUAL SCREENINGS WILL BE AVAILABLE from Saturday, July 31 through Sunday, August 8, 2021. WHFF Virtual Passes offer access to films on our streaming platform combined with live events presented via video and web conferencing and social media platforms. The films are available on-demand throughout the Festival. The live events are scheduled.

Virtual Passes

A Virtual Pass will allow you access to the festival program according to the pass level you purchased at watch.woodsholefilmfestival.org, without having to enter information each time you wish to watch a film. PASSES ARE FOR VIRTUAL SCREENINGS ONLY and this information relates to watching films only. See additional information below for information about workshops and panels.  To attend in-person screenings you will need to purchase a ticket or ticket package.

Your login email and password for the WHFF virtual festival platform on CineSend is the same as your login for Elevent. If you purchased a pass, you log in as a MEMBER. If you purchased a ticket, you log in with your ticket voucher information.

To get back the WHFF Virtual Platform at any time, go to watch.woodsholefilmfestival.org.

Why do virtual films and events say they are available at 8 am on Saturday, July 31st? All virtual films and events will say available on Sat, Jul 31, 2021 8:00am EST (Virtual), which is when the Festival begins. These films and events are available to watch from 8 am, Sat. July 31 through Sunday, August 8th at 11:59 pm. In-person screenings will take place at their scheduled time and venue.

Where do I watch WHFF films online?
WHFF films will stream exclusively at https://watch.woodsholefilmfestival.org.

You must purchase a pass or ticket at through the Elevent Ticketing System before going to the watch.woodsholefilmfestival.org to access the virtual platform. The email confirmation you receive after you purchase your selection will have direct links to watch the film on your desktop, laptop or mobile device and you may cast it to your television. If you purchase a pass you will receive an email asking you to establish a password/account to view the selections in the Cinesend virtual platform. As a passholder, login where it asks for Member Information with your login and password you created with the Elevent system.  A passholder will be able to log into the streaming system from anywhere once you’ve created your account. If you purchased a pass you may watch any film associated with your pass level any time during the Festival.
If you are a ticket purchaser, once you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email with an active link to the film or event.

Caution: The link you receive to access a film is specific to your ticket. You will not be able to start watching the film on one device and finish watching on another unless you are in one location and using the same WiFi IP address. Please make sure you are on WiFi and not data when you begin to watch a film. In addition you will not be able to share the link with anyone else once you have started watching it. Once you begin to watch a film you will have 48 hours to finish watching it, or until midnight ET on August 8. You will be able to watch a film more than once within the 48 hour window on the same device.

What time zone does the schedule use?

All times are based on Eastern Standard/Daylight Time. Virtual films are available to stream only in the United States.

Access Your Virtual Event

When will I have access to my virtual event or live stream?

If you are a passholder, your event access begins on July 31 at 8 am and ends on August 8 at 11:59 pm. During the Festival the films may be watched at your leisure. If you are a ticket purchaser, you will receive a Virtual Access email at the email address used to purchase your ticket.

I can’t find my Virtual Access email, what do I do?

Be sure to check spam and junk folders. Search your mailbox using “Woods Hole Film Festival” or the email address donotreply@mail.goelevent.com

I can’t find the virtual event access email?

You can access the virtual event from your Elevent Account on the Order History page. Click HERE for direct access. If not logged in, you will need to login first. You will see a view button displayed with the order details.

I don’t see the view button on my order history page, what do I do?

The view button will appear at the scheduled date and time for the virtual event. If you believe the virtual event should be available for viewing and is not, please contact us at support@woodsholefilmfestival.org.

TICKETS

Tickets for individual films and shorts programs can be purchased for both virtual and in-person screenings. Tickets for virtual screenings are available for purchase now through 8pm EST Sunday, August 8, 2021. Ticket sales for in-person screenings end when the in-person screening begins.
Search for the film or event you would like to attend and click the link to select that film or event. Be sure to choose the correct ticket for the screening you want – virtual or in-person. If you don’t have an account with Elevent Ticketing you will need to register and create an account first with your name, email address and password. After you complete your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation. For in-person screenings your ticket will be included on the email as a pdf. For virtual screenings you will receive a second message with your ticket link. The email will be sent to the email address registered with the account. If you can’t find the email with your ticket, please check your spam or contact support@woodsholefilmfestival.org and we can resend your email.

Tickets: You may purchase tickets to both virtual and in-person screenings and events by visiting https://www.goelevent.com/WoodsHoleFilmFest/e/Search and clicking the “Get Tickets” button. Choose either the virtual selection or in-person and add the selection to your cart.  You can then check out or continue browsing.

Ticket or Pass Quantity:

For virtual screenings you need purchase only one pass or ticket per household to watch a film or event if you are all watching from the same location. If you have multiple people in your household who will be watching and wish to be a wonderful person and account for that, we encourage you to purchase the Virtual Household ticket or to make a DONATION in any amount during the checkout process or any time you feel compelled. (Donations to the Woods Hole Film Festival are tax deductible.)

When will I receive the email to access the online films?
If you purchased a pass or ticket to a virtual film prior to the start of the Festival, you will receive the access email about 2 hours before the selection is active, around 6:00am on Saturday, July 31, 2021 with your access link and/or voucher numbers.

If you purchase a pass or ticket to a virtual film during the Festival, you will receive an email with your access link and/or voucher numbers upon purchase.

All confirmation emails and links will be sent to the email you used to register with Elevent, the Festival’s ticketing system. If you do not receive an email confirmation please check your spam or contact the Festival.

Once I purchase a ticket or pass, how long will I have to access the film/s?
If you purchase a pass you can login to watch them at any time for the entirety of the festival dates according to your pass type. If you purchased a single ticket to an individual film or shorts program you have 48 hours to complete watching the film from the time you click play. Note that once you start watching an individual film, you will only be able to access it at the same location.

How do I access panels, workshops and the Master Class?
Once you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email on the day of the event with a link to log into Airmeet. Please note that panels, workshops and Master Classes will be held at their scheduled time. If you purchase a pass, you will be able to log in through the virtual platform.

What are the in-person venues this year?

What are the Covid requirements at in-person venues?

ALL PATRONS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AT EACH SCREENING VENUE TO ENTER AND WATCH A FILM.  A PATRON WHO IS NOT VACCINATED IS ENCOURAGED TO PURCHASE A VIRTUAL TICKET OR PASS .
